Philadelphia band Mock Suns will self-release their sophomore studio album, entitled Santander/All That I Knew, on April 29.
Mixed by Bill Moriarty (Dr. Dog and Floating Action) and mastered by Joe Lambert, whose credits include Deerhunter and Dirty Projectors, Santander/All That I Knew represents the culmination of two long years of hard work for Mock Suns.
The album spans twelve tracks and serves as the follow-up to their debut release, Here Not There, and continues their streak of writing challenging psychedelic rock infused with an improvisational slant. Divided in four suites, an ode to the classic concept album format, Santander is still meant to be listened as a unified piece, but it still harbors a number of shimmering singles that model psychedelic pop songs.
No Ripcord will be streaming Santander/All That I Knew exclusively from April 21 through April 28.
